Kshama Sawant Inauguration 2014

On 1/6/13 I was able to document an historic moment: Newly elected Seattle City Council member, Kshama Sawant being inaugurated. Sawant is a socialist and member of Socialist Alternative (socialistalternative.org) and the campaign was dramatic to say the least! Seattle City Hall was packed, standing room only and the crowd was as enthusiastic as I have ever witnessed for a city council event. Here are the images.
